How do I actually inject this?

Also asked: how to inject, first injection, where do I inject, am I doing it right, does it hurt, subcutaneous Answer: Wash your hands. Work on a clean flat surface. Clean the vial top and the skin with alcohol and let it dry. Draw up the exact number of units from your calculator. Pinch a bit of skin on your abdomen (a couple of inches from your navel), thigh, or the back of your upper arm, insert at 90 degrees, inject slowly, and count a few seconds before you withdraw.

Rotate sites so you're not using the same spot twice in a row. Never reuse or share a needle. The needles are short and fine; most people describe it as less than they expected.

Escalate: any question about units or dose.
