How do I manage nausea?
Also asked: nausea tips, feel sick after injection, can't eat, how to reduce nausea, remedies Answer: What tends to help:
-
Smaller meals, and stop at the first sign of full rather than at the end of the plate
-
Less fat and less fried food on injection day
-
Fluids through the whole day, not all at once
-
Bland and cold food beats hot and rich when you're queasy
-
Inject in the evening if mornings are worst [CONFIRM: our stance on timing]
If it's bad enough to affect your fluids or your work, tell your provider. They can slow your titration, hold your dose, or reach out and we will send a prescription for nausea to your local pharmacy.
Escalate: if they can't keep fluids down, or have lost weight dangerously fast.
