• Personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer, or MEN2 syndrome

• Previous pancreatitis

• Pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive

• Gastroparesis or another serious stomach-emptying problem

• Previous allergic reaction to a GLP-1

• Insulin or a sulfonylurea for diabetes (your doses may need adjusting to avoid low blood sugar)

• History of gallbladder disease

• Diabetic retinopathy especially if you have diabetes, as some GLP-1 medications may require closer monitoring of your eye health

Your provider will review your medical history and determine whether treatment is appropriate for you.
